More zaniness added - Unusuall off

Time flies. We’re finished adding makeup to the site and it’s back online! Still embracing minimalism. The pictures from the previous site might look a bit warped and stretched, but that’ll change with the future posts. Anyway enough of the site, the thing that matters is the music!

So what’s been going on since the last update? Jolea’s lastest has received a nice amount of downloads, Recue opened a new website and his studio experiment got “viral”, Jolea got some air time at YLEX and Bassoradio. Recue has actually been busy in the studio and the results are starting to sound reeeally promising. Jolea’s seen lurking around the same studio. We’ll hopefully hear more from that soon.

We’re really excited to announce that the first part of Jolea’s twin release “…And The Ghosts That Followed: The Remixes” sees the daylight today! Go get yourself a copy from the  Audiobaum webshop!

And The Ghosts Followed – is (a kind of) a second chapter for Jolea’s well received 2009 debut album Ghostly Figures which introduced us the beautifully etheral and haunted world of the Audiobaum mastermind herself. The release is divided into two parts: The Remixes – brings you reworked versions of all the tracks of Ghostly Figures by some of Audiobaum’s favorite electronic music artist including melodic electronica maestro Bad Loop, tech house bad boy Paul Easy and the fellow Audiobaum partner-in-crime Recue. The second part of the release – The Other Side – comprises of completely new tracks continuing the story left untold in Ghostly Figures. The Other Side will be released later in 2010, but as a promise of things to come, The Remixes includes Joonas Lehtinen’s reworked version of a track called Doppelgänger, to be included in The Other Side.

In the midtst of the hottest summer, Audiobaum brings you.. the coolest beats..! We give you a sneak peek of a track called Doppelgänger from the highly anticipated second album of Jolea ..And The Ghosts That Followed. The original track will be included in the second part of the release titled, The Other Side, but this version brings you the sleek and sensual remix done by the talented Parvati artist Joonas Lehtinen. The remix will be included in the first part of the release, The Remixes, which will be out right here, soon!

Jolea – Doppelgänger (Joonas remix)

In case you have been wondering why it’s been a tad quiet here lately, it’s not that we have been sitting back and relaxing, but because the Audiobaum assault team has been preparing for the next move! It’s time to shed a little light on things to come this summer.

Audiobaum’s next release is set to be a twin EP that revolves around Jolea’s acclaimed debut album “Ghostly Figures“. The first part of the release will be a collection of remixes of the tracks from the album made by some of Audiobaum’s favourite electronic artists including Bad Loop, Paul Easy, Recue and more. The genres are to cover more the danceable side of electronic spectrum not forgetting the deeper end either.

The second part is an EP worth of unreleased material that has been haunting the creative mind until now. The songs continue to tell the story that begun in the previous release giving it sort of a second chapter. Soundwise Jolea is moving in the same territory, dark, dreamy and ghostly… More of the second chapter is to be revealed right here as the days start to get shorter and evenings darker but first we give you a small dose of the remixes as starters!
