Recue
Recue – Riku Annala, an electronic musician/producer born (in 1980) and raised in Finland. Twiddling with musical instruments since a teenager. Guitar, drums, trackers, synths, couple of minor band projects, collaborations and remixes done with pure passion for music technology rather than formal training.
The main driving force behind recues music is the amusement of the creation process itself, though the process gets even more rewarding if someone else gets entertained on the way as well.
His first EP Between Stations got released on Louisville based label One in 2006 and received good reviews. The EP is described as ambient, dub and idm influenced. Those influences can be heard throughout Recues later work too. Wide, dreamy soundscapes topped with cruchy beats tend to be the key.
After his latest release All the Wrong Places released on Rednetic Recordings ending on a worldwide distribution with the TV series Madventures and appearing on the bleep.com top 10 visitor Reason or Romanza EP1, Recue is back twiddling in his home studio and crafting new sounds.
